Was down in the desert for lab work so around 2p checked my BP and bottom was 94 so went over to the Rancho Mirage center. BP barely passed with 149/100 and was able to donate blood. Guess they stopped doing the antibody test in June, bummer. Got my cholesterol result: 200. The high end of the "normal" range. My BP at 945p the next day was 130/96. Had salad and tuna sandwich for dinner plus some grapes. Dunno if it's the medication working because I'm now taking 75mg instead of 50mg. Had a brain fart today, after loading car with trash after cleaning lib, forgot to close the back hatch and left it wide open while I vacuumed. I can't believe I didn't see it open when I went back inside. Just random forgetfulness or side effect of increased metoprolol dose? I'll have to keep tabs.

Metoprolol dose increased to 75mg & Annual Checkup (Sept 2021)
Went in for annual checkup yesterday. Asked Brigette about if there's any other BP med she might recommend since what I'm on isn't quite working. She says the metoprolol dose I have now is the lowest amount, so she says let's try going up to 1.5 pills, 75mg. If this doesn't work she suggests I see cardiologist. All the meds I have already tried were the ones she woulda recommended. Asked if I have heart palpitations, is that when I can feel my heart racing? then yes. Looked it up, doesn't seem to mean heart has issues. But something to mention to cardiologist. As for neurologist, no need to go since nothing going wrong and also cuz it's already been 8 years since stroke. Blood work needs to be done in Hemet, so going next week. Mammogram also due. Same for colonoscopy or stool test. Need to check insurance on that one since i'm not 50 yet. Mentioned heel pain, so getting xray on Monday as well as Tetanus shot booster.
