Got the Pfizer booster shot yesterday (Sat). Took an emergenC about an hour before and drank about 16oz water 30min before shot. Overall side effects are mild. Headache, arm soreness, and upper back stiffness. BP was high tho. Shot at 445pm, at 8p it was 186/107 (72). So walked 30 min on the treadmill. Dropped a little to 133/109 (83), dunno if it was the booster that caused the spike.
UPDATE: Mon, 2 days later, pain in the left underarm area. Sensitive to touch and crossing over to left boob. My lymph nodes has swollen, common for it to happen days after vaccine on same side as shot. At night notice a scalp pain on top of head. Feels better when rubbed. Keeping an eye on it.
Tues, 3 days later. Armpit pain little better but still puffy and swollen. If it lasts longer than 2 weeks call doctor. Mild headache comes and goes. Getting better. Top of head scalp pain back at night with less intensity. Also had BP follow-up today, it was 130/90. I think my monitor is screwed cuz it said 160/114 when I got home.
